Go On a Road Cruise Search for Snakes and Frogs
Take a nightime road cruise looking for reptiles and amphibians.
If you look carefully, you may spot many interesting things.
You will find the road below these instructions. Use the slide bar on the right of the screen to move down the road. (You may also hold down the "Shift" key and "Down Arrow" key. This may give a slower continuous speed.) Your mileage on the road will be shown in the upper left corner of the screen. The entire cruise is seven miles and contains 26 animals.
The slower you move, the more likely you are to spot something. When you do spot something, stop, back up if you need to, and take a good look at your find by clicking on it. Identify your find and write it on a list. Use the BACK command to return to the road and continue the cruise.
The enitre hunt consists of 7 one-mile segments. When you come to the end of a segment, click on CONTINUE.
At the end of the hunt you will find a list of the things that were on the road. How many were you able to spot? By clicking on the name in the list, you will be taken to the road location where it is found. Use the BACK command to return to the list.
